Perfect for families who want a nature getaway, this newly built, log cabin-style home creates that quintessential rustic feel you’re looking for. Yet, it’s still equipped with the comforts and conveniences that make family vacations easier and more enjoyable for all including a private hot tub and a game room in the loft with pool table, arcade and Infinity table. Nestled within a quiet resort-style neighborhood, you’ll find a community pool, shared grills, fire pit, Pickleball and Tennis courts.

When families stay at Cedar Log, the two things they marvel at is how close it is to all of the activities of Gatlinburg, yet how away from it all it feels.

The Layout

Another perk of the space is how open the layout is. The kitchen, living space, main bedrooms and laundry machines are all on the same level, and even the spacious loft feels connected to the rest of the home, fostering a great sense of togetherness.

Kitchen

We’ve stocked the kitchen with all the cooking essentials – even grilling essentials for the outdoor gas grills, including a waffle iron, of course. The kitchen island is great to gather around and the coffee bar (another guest fave!) is equipped with a French press, drip machine, and Keurig.

Living Space

The beautiful stone fireplace is the focal point of the home. On the mantel is a smart tv for all of your watching needs. The couches including recliners are incredibly comfortable, a popular spot for midday snoozes.

Bedrooms

Speaking of snoozing, the two bedrooms are designed for comfort. The first features two queen beds while the other has a king bed. Both have en suite bathrooms and, through these bathrooms, are private entrances to the back porch area where the hot tub is waiting for you. Both bedrooms are also equipped with smart TVs.

The Loft & Game Room

This is the space kids love! It’s part bedroom (with two twin beds) and part arcade. You’ll find a pool table, board games, bean bags, a wall-mounted tv and an arcade machine. The stand out, though, is the Infinity Table – a digital gaming table that holds hundreds of games including your most famous board games for countless hours of family entertainment.

Hot Tub & Porches

You came to get in touch with nature and this is the perfect way. Our screened in back porch lets you enjoy the fresh air without the bugs. And the hot tub is just waiting for you to get in and enjoy. Off of the upstairs loft is another screened in, more private balcony. Both have great, private views of the woods. The front porch has 4 rocking chairs, a perfect place for enjoying a morning cup of coffee, in a quiet environment while feeling the breeze of fresh air.

The Resort & Pool

The whole family will love the White Oak Lodge & Resort. The salt-water pool, belovedly called Joon’s Lagoon, is great for little ones and adults alike. There are also Pickleball, tennis and basketball courts, a fitness center, BBQ grills (one just 100 meters from the house), a communal fire pit, and private walking trails. The area is designed for family vacations and is the perfect mix of quiet and lively.

• Fast Wifi and smart TVs in every room

• Laundry room on the main level. We also provide starter packs of detergent.

• Complimentary starter packs of travel soaps and shampoos provided, along with dish soap.

• Towels and linens are provided, including hot tub towels

• Community pool access from 10am to 10pm, just a 3 minute walk away. It is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

• No smoking or vaping inside of cabin.

• Pets are not permitted.

• Parties and events are not allowed.

• Owner/host not responsible for accidents/injuries.

• Travel insurance recommended. We are unable to provide refunds for inclement weather.

• One Ring floodlight camera on the exterior facing the driveway area. It is not actively monitored, but used retrospectively if there is an incident. There are no cameras or audio recording devices inside the cabin.

White Oak Lodge & Resort is located just off of State Route 321. The lodge is in the back corner of the neighborhood, making it one of the most private spaces in an already quiet community. Yet, it’s still an easy walk to everything on the grounds.

With no mountainous roads to the resort, our cabin is a stress free drive away to some of the area's best attractions. After driving through the rest of Smokey Mountain region, you’ll see why this is such a big perk!

• Gatlinburg Sky Bridge is a must! It’s the longest on the continent and even has a glass bottomed section for an absolute thrill.

• Ole Smoky’s “The Holler” Distillery is a nationwide favorite. Tours are available, there’s great food, and sometimes live music.

• Amazing Mirror Maze & Circus is a one-of-a-kind mini golf course right downtown

• Ripley’s Aquarium is a classic for a reason!

• Anakeesta Outdoor Adventure Park is an absolute hit with the kids. And, frankly, even fun for adults!

Our family has visited the Smokies for vacation for many years and we've always dreamed of owning our own little piece of paradise in the area!

Cedar Log is that dream come to life. We've put a lot of love and care into the home to make it a wonderful and comfortable place for a family getaway. We love soaking in the hot tub after a busy day. The kids love the game room in the loft. The location is perfect and the White Oak Resort is one of a kind.

The home is just a short easy drive to all major local attractions and the neighborhood is perfect to relax away from the hustle and bustle. The resort is great for morning or evening walks or bike rides. We're excited to make plenty more family memories and are happy to be able to offer Cedar Log for you to make memories in as well.
